Operation Shore Patrol 39th Anniversary

Founded in 1971 by the Pacific Northwest Four Wheel Drive Association (PNW4WDA) and supported by Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission, Dept. of Ecology and The Ocean Conservancy, Operation Shore Patrol is an annual clean up of Washington State coastline beaches. Through continued support of local, regional and national organizations this initiative has been able to continually rid our beaches of litter and debris that accumulates from public use, illegal dumping and from the Pacific Ocean.
Plan to join us on September 18, 2010 for another worthwhile project. Meet at Ocean City State Park, Ocean Shores, Washington on Saturday morning at 8 a.m. to register. Camping is free in the park on Friday and Saturday nights for Shore Patrol volunteers. There are also several motels in town.
To signup please email Lois so that we will have an estimate as to how many will be attending. We will meet in the right hand loop as you enter the park. There will be a covered table with the signup sheets. Be sure and sign on the Telephone Pioneers page as we join with several other groups in this effort. Hosted by the 4-Wheelers, we have done this project for many years. Bring your family, friends and neighbors.
Annual Awards and Installation Luncheon
Our annual Awards and Installation Luncheon will be held on October 9, 2010 at the Embassy Suites in Lynnwood. Please mark your calendar and make plans to attend.
