Welcome to Chapter #122 of the Qwest Pioneers.

Hello Pioneers and Friends,

I'm pleased that you would visit our new web site to learn more about what Pioneers are doing in Montana.

Last year more than 150 of our Pioneers, Partners, families and friends volunteered more than 5,000 hours answering the call of people in need.

People who don't even know our name shared the benefit of those contributions.

  • Foster children in Yellowstone County had essential clothing and other supplies through the efforts of Pioneers in Billings.
  • The holidays were brighter for people with disabilities through the work of Helena Pioneers.
  • Children in traumatic situations across the state were comforted by toy Hug-a-Bears made by Pioneers in Hamilton, Helena and Missoula.

I hope you'll check out our 2009 activities and achievements, not only to recognize the tremendous work Pioneers did last year, but to see how you might match your talents and interests with Pioneering.

I'm awed by and proud of the accomplishment of our Pioneers and I'm inspired by what we can do in the future, especially as more and more Qwest employees join our activities.

Pioneering reflects our connections between retirees and current employees, our industry and our communities, our history and our future.

If you are an active member, i share my thanks and congratulations.  If you aren't yet, please contact me or one of our local officers.  Pioneering can make a positive difference in your life.

Yours in Pioneering,

Terri Rogers
